Connect vProp to Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex
Add vProp to the AI assistant you already use and ask for a listing video in plain English. Your assistant creates the listing, collects your photos, and starts the video in the vProp workspace you choose.
https://vprop.ai/api/mcpPaste this exact URL — it ends in /api/mcp. This guide page's address won't work as a server URL.
What you can do
Once connected, your assistant can do everything below inside the workspace you picked. You describe the listing; it handles the steps in vProp.
See which workspace is connected
Pick an agent profile
Create a listing
Get a photo upload link
Generate a listing video
Check on a video

Requirements
A vProp account with a paid workspace
Claude: custom connectors
ChatGPT custom setup: Developer mode
Codex: the Codex CLI
Connect
Check your workspace, pick the app you use, and follow the installation steps. Everyone can read the steps; sign in to see your own workspaces.
Workspace
Sign in to see your workspacesChoosing a workspace here doesn't change the server URL or the commands below. You pick the workspace when you sign in to vProp during setup — if only one workspace is eligible, it's selected for you.
Client
claude.ai · Desktop · mobile
Installation
Takes about two minutes. You'll need to be signed in to Claude and to vProp. One connector covers Claude on the web, desktop, and mobile.
Open Connectors in Claude
In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors.
Add a custom connector
Click Add custom connector.
Enter the vProp details
Name it vProp and paste the server URL below. That's all vProp needs — no client ID, no secret.
https://vprop.ai/api/mcpPaste this exact URL — it ends in
/api/mcp. This guide page's address won't work as a server URL.Click Connect
Leave the OAuth Client setting on its default (Anthropic's hosted client metadata, the recommended option) and click Connect.
Sign in to vProp
Claude sends you to vprop.ai. Sign in with your usual vProp account if you aren't already.
Choose a workspace
Pick the workspace Claude should work in. Only paid workspaces can be selected, and videos use that workspace's credits.
Click Allow
You're back in Claude with vProp connected. Claude on the web, desktop, and mobile share this one connector, so you only set it up once.
Claude Code connects to vProp straight from your terminal — no claude.ai connector needed. Takes about a minute.
Add the vProp server
Run this in your terminal. The server URL is the only thing Claude Code needs — no client ID or extra flags.
claude mcp add --transport http vprop https://vprop.ai/api/mcpAuthenticate
Inside Claude Code, type
/mcp, choosevprop, thenAuthenticate. Your browser opens vprop.ai — sign in, pick the workspace Claude Code should work in, and click Allow.Verify the connection
Back in Claude Code, ask “Which vProp workspace am I connected to?” Claude should answer with the workspace name, its plan, and the credits left.
Already connected vProp in claude.ai? Claude Code picks up that connector automatically when you're signed in to the same account, so you can skip the steps above.
These steps create a custom Developer mode connection on the web. If you already have a separately configured vProp app in ChatGPT, keep its settings and use the troubleshooting and support section below for help.
Turn on Developer mode
In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
Create an app for vProp
Go to ChatGPT Plugins and select the plus button to create a developer-mode app.
Enter the vProp details
Name it vProp, paste the server URL below, and choose OAuth for authentication. Leave any client ID or secret fields empty — vProp doesn't need them. If ChatGPT asks how to register, pick Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD).
https://vprop.ai/api/mcpPaste this exact URL — it ends in
/api/mcp. This guide page's address won't work as a server URL.Sign in and choose a workspace
ChatGPT sends you to vprop.ai. Sign in, pick the workspace ChatGPT should work in, and click Allow.
Use vProp in a chat
In a conversation, choose Developer mode from the Plus menu and select vProp. The app is listed under Drafts in your app settings.
Codex connects to vProp from your terminal. Takes about a minute.
Add the vProp server
Run this in your terminal. The server URL is all Codex needs, and it opens your browser to sign in to vProp right away.
codex mcp add vprop --url https://vprop.ai/api/mcpSign in and choose a workspace
On vprop.ai, sign in, pick the workspace Codex should work in, and click Allow. If the browser didn't open, or you need to sign in again later, run
codex mcp login vprop.Verify the connection
Start
codexand type/mcp— vprop should be listed with its tools. Then ask “Which vProp workspace am I connected to?” Codex should answer with the workspace name, its plan, and the credits left.
Typical flow
Here's what a first video looks like, from your prompt to the finished file.
Try saying this to your assistant
“Make a listing video for 4821 Maple Grove Lane, Austin, TX 78745 — 3 bed, 2 bath, 1,850 sq ft, listed at $549,000. Use my agent profile.”
Your assistant confirms the workspace
It checks which workspace is connected and how many credits are available, then picks your agent profile.
Your assistant creates the listing
The address and details you gave become a listing in vProp.
You upload the photos
Your assistant sends you an upload link. Open it in your browser, pick the photos (from your device, a zip, Google Drive, or Dropbox), then tap Done to upload them all at once — no sign-in needed. We recommend 8 or more photos for a complete walkthrough. The link works for 10 minutes; if it expires, just ask for a new one.
Your assistant starts the video
Once you say the photos are in, your assistant starts generating the video. This uses your workspace credits.
Your assistant checks progress
Rendering usually takes several minutes. Ask for the status any time, and find the finished video in your vProp dashboard.
Credits & plan
Videos use workspace credits
No double charges on retries
Video requests need access and available credits
Manage & disconnect
You can see and remove the connection from either side. Revoking an app's access happens on vProp's side; switching workspaces happens in the app, by connecting again.
In vProp
In Claude
In ChatGPT
In Codex
codex mcp logout vprop to sign out, or codex mcp remove vprop to remove the server. To switch workspaces, run codex mcp login vprop and pick another one.Keeping tools up to date
For custom MCP connections, a saved tool list may need a refresh after vProp adds or changes an action. Use the controls for your client:
Claude: Settings → Connectors → ⋮ next to vProp → Refresh tools list
ChatGPT custom connection: Plugins → vProp → Refresh
After refreshing a custom ChatGPT connection, start a new conversation. Refreshing the tool list does not replace signing in or approving team access when prompted.
For a published ChatGPT app, tool updates follow OpenAI's review process rather than this custom-connection refresh workflow. If a feature is missing or an error persists, contact vProp support.
Troubleshooting & support
Contact vProp support
Email support@vprop.ai for help with your account, connected apps, photo uploads, or listing videos. Include the workspace name, what you were trying to do, the time of the problem and your time zone, and the error message or support reference shown on screen. A screenshot with private details hidden can help.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, client secrets, or complete approval or upload links. vProp is provided by VoyagerX, Inc.
Your app shows a connection problem, or connecting just opens the vProp dashboard
This guide page's address, or vprop.ai on its own, is not an MCP server URL. For the custom connection described in the setup steps, use the exact URL ending in /api/mcp. A separately configured ChatGPT app may use /api/mcp/openai; keep that app's supplied URL and OAuth settings instead of replacing them with the custom setup.
Your assistant says it isn't signed in, or vProp asks you to sign in again
Your account may not be connected, or the connection may need you to sign in again. In ChatGPT, open Plugins → vProp and check the connected account. Connect your account if none is linked, or reconnect if ChatGPT asks you to sign in again. Complete team approval if prompted. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors; in Codex, run codex mcp login vprop.
I signed in, but ChatGPT asks me to approve team access
Signing in verifies your account. Team approval is a separate step for connections that request it. Open the new approval link from your conversation, sign in with the same vProp account, choose the workspace, and review the operations and credit use before approving. Then return to the conversation and ask your assistant to check the connected workspace.
My team approval link is unavailable
Approval links expire. Ask your assistant for a fresh link and open it promptly while signed in with the account that started the connection. If it still fails, contact support with the error text, not the full link.
I want to connect a different vProp account
Your browser may still be signed in to the previous vProp account. Start the connection in a private browser window and sign in with the account you want to use. Removing an app connection does not necessarily sign you out of vProp in your browser.
You connected earlier with a client ID from this page
The older custom connection keeps working. The custom setup shown here no longer needs a client ID. If you use a separately configured ChatGPT app, keep its supplied OAuth settings; these custom setup instructions do not replace them.
Your assistant reports “invalid arguments” or an unknown tool
Ask your assistant to check required inputs and use the listing, agent, or project IDs returned by vProp. An unknown tool can also mean the app's saved tool list is out of date. If this started after a tool update on a custom connection, follow the refresh steps above, then start a new conversation. If it persists, contact support with the error text.
Your workspace is on the Free plan
Free workspaces can't connect apps. Check that you chose the intended workspace and that it has the required access. Contact support if the reported access looks incorrect.
The upload link expired
Upload links last 10 minutes. Photos only upload when you tap Done — if the link expired before that, ask your assistant for a new link and pick the photos again. Photos that already finished uploading are kept.
A video request failed or is still processing
Ask for the existing project's status before starting another video. Video generation uses workspace credits; voice cloning doesn't. If there are no uploaded photos, upload them first; video creation is blocked until usable photos are available. Contact support if processing does not finish or the reported credit balance looks incorrect.
